Cape Argus 2008

What: Cape Argus
Where: Cape Town, South Africa

Why: The world Biggest Mass Participation Bike Race in the World, some 35,000 entries
Its sunny there

When: March every Year, normally the second Sunday.

Difficulty: Its 109km's around the Cape with 4 climbs, but not climbs like in a Grand Fondo, or Etape (climbs a bit bigger like you get on a ride in the surrey hills)


Granfondo Felice Gimondi

Hello all,

Just wanted to let you know that Marcell, Hugh and I have booked our flights and hotel to Italy for the Granfondo (weekend of May 10th)

Friday, May 9th: Departure Luton at 19:25, arrive Milan Bergamo 22:20
Sunday, May11th: Departure Milan Bergamo 22:45, arrive Luton 23:45


End of the cyclo-cross Nationals !

The end of the cyclo-cross season has come and i feel like i have had a good season with a few off races such as Mallory park, i also achieved the best result of any nationals race i have done with a 4th only a few seconds from 3rd place. a massive boost in self confidence!.


Young De Ver Rider misses podium by a whisker

De Ver Cyles young rider Thomas Humphrys came narrowly missed out on a podium finish in the second round of the national cyclocross trophy at Ipswich. The course was muddy and slippery and so suited the more technical riders, and tended to offest the advantage of the older more powerful competitors. Thomas Held 3rd place until the final sprint where the power of his older rival told.
