Hi folks

I just thought I'd write an introductory piece now that I have joined the Group. My actual name is John Mulvaney and some of you may have met me, particularly on last years Lanzarote trip where i was, sadly, injured and could not partake in the cycling but had to do touristy things instead. This year I will, if I can manage to stay upright on my bike this time, be riding with y'all in Lanzarote. Woop de doo!!

By the way my club, The Old Portlians CC, is running a Reliability ride on Sunday 10th February details here http://oldportlianscc.co.uk/reliability2008.htm Maurice was saying that a few of you might be interested. There are 2 routes 68Km and 100Km both of which are fairly hilly particularly the longer on which goes over the Asdown forest and is quite challenging. Entry on the day £5, I think
